I was so curious when I saw cantaloupe and sandalwood together. Cantaloupe is very uncommon in perfume. This is such a unique fragrance! The cantaloupe accord smells more like the rind than the juicy flesh, but I'm not mad about it. I've tried close to 1k fragrances, but this seemingly simple scent is unique among them. Spicy cantaloupe rind with creamy sandalwood; quite a warm scent but not heavy. I can't wait to try this again in the cooler months and will probably upgrade to the travel spray.

Wonderfully Unique and Interesting

On my skin, Ludus is quite warm and cozy while also being subtly sweet. For me it conjures images of enjoying a relaxing morning...happily eating ripe melon while wrapped in a luxurious blanket. If you enjoy the scent of cantaloupe, then this is a must try. It's truly unique. I plan to upgrade my small decant to a full size very soon.

Playful and sexy!

Ludus is a dream! Cantaloupe fragrances are hard to come by and Damask Haus has created a masterpiece with this one. I started out with a sample and was blown away I had to get a larger bottle. It smells of playful sweet cantaloupe and sexy spiced woods. So good!

Gorgeous cantaloupe!

I’ve never smelled a cantaloupe perfume (or actually even seen one before Ludus) but I can tell you that after a few days of rest, this turned into a lovely, sophisticated fruit scent that goes on in an elegant fashion. Perfect for spring & summer. It truly carries the heart of freshly sliced cantaloupe with small hints of sugar and sandalwood. Really approachable scent!
