Wintermelon Tea - Wintermelon tea is a popular beverage that originated in Taiwan but has gained popularity in various parts of Asia and beyond. It is made from the flesh of wintermelon, also known as wax gourd or ash gourd, which is brewed with tea leaves and often sweetened with sugar or honey. Wintermelon tea is often served cold, making it a refreshing drink, especially during hot weather. Wintermelon has a mild flavor similar to cucumber or watermelon rind, but with a more delicate sweetness.
Notes: Wintermelon gourd brewed with black tea leaves and a touch of sugar. Delicate yet refreshing.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a wintermelon tea. I'm familiar with what the melon tastes/smells like, but have never seen a tea or fragrance with it. Out of the samples I ordered, this was the one I was most interested in, but unfortunately it misses the mark a little for me. To my nose, it smells like a strong black tea sweetened with white sugar. I don't really get any melon. It actually reminds me a fair bit of Comme des Garçons Series 7 Sweet Nomad Tea. I'm hoping once I revisit the fragrance after letting it sit for a week or so that my perception will change and the melon comes out more. It's a lovely sweet black tea fragrance, I just have several in the same vein.

When it's finally your turn, you're greeted by the comforting aroma of fresh black tea. This fragrance captures that pure, clean scent of black tea. It's one of my favorite fragrances in the DamaskHaus collection, and I always make sure to have it on hand. Truly, it's another exquisite piece in their collection.
This scent perfectly captures the watermelon rind + brown sugar smell of wintermelon to the point I almost want to lick myself. There's a hint of tea to lift up the overall smell. I really like it alone but I will probably also layer it over milky, honey or other scents to capture the milk tea experience. If you like wintermelon tea I highly recommend it. And look at that gorgeous color!
The Wintermelon tea fragrance is amazing! It's very photorealistic and smells just like the wintermelon tea from my favorite tea shop. It is the perfect refreshing fragrance for these warm summer months.
OMG I love drinking winter melon tea, and when I saw a review by Laila on tik tok, I knew I had to smell it for myself, and…WOW. Smells just like a winter melon tea I would pick up at my local boba tea spot, I take mine with a little bit of oat milk and brown sugar boba to add a little sweetness.
