Velvet Damask - After another long day, you brush the outside world off your favorite cashmere coat as you arrive home to your sanctuary and hang it up along with all the days' burdens. Surprisingly, no one is home yet—you get the couch all to yourself! What a great time to curl up in your favorite velvet blanket, enjoy a cup of creamy vanilla milk and light your favorite candle. It sends up a mixture of saffron and amber just in time for you to hear the key in lock.

A wonderfully cozy spiced vanilla with deep, woodsy notes. Unisex and long lasting. This smells so luxurious and alluring. Pairs wonderfully with other vanilla perfumes for autumn or winter if you want to add more richness.
Dreamy resinous amber, drifting in a cream of cashmere and musk. The vanilla, amber and benzoin round out the saffron so well that this fragrance stays smooth from initial spray, never harsh. I'm loving the scent! Smells like a niche luxury perfume, very classy, upscale and versatile. Great all year round but will shine in cooler weather. Can easily be worn for every occasion, it's mass appealing but not mass mundane, you will not smell like the guy/girl next door.
this was my free sample for my order and i was very happy to try it. While i personally didn't resonate with velvet damask, it is undeniably a beautiful blend of ambers and saffron. if you're looking for something more unisex and luxurious, add this perfume to your order!
I am normally drawn to gourmands and citrus/fruity scents, but Velvet Damask had a lot of individual notes I like in other perfumes so I decided to give it a try. I'm really glad I did! I'm not sure how best to classify this, but it's a darker, rich atmospheric, I think, nicely unisex, subtle, and intriguing. I kept sniffing my wrist all evening, it's quite enchanting. Also, max points on longevity - I put it on in the early afternoon and could still smell traces of it the next morning!
