Ube Malasada - Hawaiian cuisine is a melting pot of local and imported flavors. An adaptation from the Portuguese, Hawaiian malasadas, are yeast-leavened doughnuts enriched with eggs, butter, and often evaporated or fresh milk. After frying, they are rolled in cinnamon sugar. Though a traditional malasada is ungarnished, in the islands they can be found with all manner of filling including coconut flavored haupia pudding or rich purple ube custard.

Notes: Fresh fried soft doughnuts filled with creamy purple ube and coconut haupia sprinkled with sugar and the slightest of cinnamon.

THE PERFECT UBE PERFUME

If you love ube and grew up eating it like I did, you'll love Ube Malasada! It is so photorealistic it's insane. This is such a unique gourmand that lasts all day and will have you smelling edible! I would say it's pretty linear, but still so so unique. Definitely one of my favorites from Damask Haus!

Literally the best thing ever

I'm madly in love with this scent. Upon spraying it, I smiled with joy as I smelled the delicious, sugary dough aroma wafting through the air, accompanied by something utterly tropical. This smells like vacation. Like tasty vacation. It's perfection and I can't wait to buy a full size version. If you like gourmands, you can't go wrong here. This scent has some serious strength too.

Ube Malasade is super yummy. I was hoping it would be like a tropical version of Berliners and it really is. Warm, sweet, rich fried dough with a touch of coconut.
