Ambrosial Orris

I bought a sample of this perfume and it is so beautiful! It is not overly sweet even though it has some sweet notes. It's a perfect, beautiful scent and a combination of the sweet sugars with the grape coming through and mixed with the amber. You do get a hint of the sugar in the front but it dissipates quickly on my skin. It lasts so long. I just love it so much! It's my third perfume sample from this perfume house. They have all been so lovely!

She is a beauty! This is one of those fragrances that unfolds like a storybook. It’s positively enchanting! You get a beautiful burst of powdery Orris and hints of raspberry in the opening. The white chocolate makes an appearance, but only to usher you into cascades of Mahogany and Amber, which form the base of this magnificent tale. If you love plot twists, you’ll love Ambrosial Orris. Hot Tip: layer this with your favorite plum or cherry fragrance - she’s the star, but isn’t above a supporting role.

I LOVE this perfume! I get compliments EVERY SINGLE TIME I wear it. I hear people say as they pass, "oh wow, someone smells soooo good." Today as I stepped up to check out at a register in a store, the employee told me she could smell my perfume the moment I got in her line. She wanted the info so that she can get some for herself. I agree with her that it smells so different from what everyone else is wearing. Soft and beautiful, but with excellent sillage. Truly a masterpiece!

My friend was kind enough to let me sniff her sample of this today, and I could pick up on the white chocolate immediately. This is a really gorgeous fleurmand that does have a touch of grape influence and sweet powdered coziness dusting over all of it. I see purple and white petals.

I normally don't gravitate toward warm, sweet fragrances because they give me headaches.... but this is heavenly. Very well blended and balanced! Sweet, creamy, cozy, but never over the top. Will definitely be in my cold weather rotation!
