Agape

Agape (ἀγάπη): Agape is selfless, unconditional altruistic love. It goes beyond personal affection and extends to a universal, compassionate love for all beings. In Greek philosophy, agape was often associated with divine love or the highest form of love that transcends personal desires.  This concept gained prominence in Christian theology, where agape is considered the highest form of love and is associated with God's love for humanity. It involves self-sacrifice, generosity, and an all-encompassing care for others, regardless of their actions or characteristics. Agape is often portrayed as a selfless and pure love that seeks the well-being of others.
