About Damask Haus:

Damask Haus was founded in 2021 by perfumer and owner Bri Beyer, who cultivated fragrance creation as a personal creative outlet for many years after recovering from alcohol addiction. In 2011 she committed to alcohol recovery, a decision that transformed her life. Through this journey she discovered solace, enjoyment, and a renewed zeal for life by creating fragrances. Over a decade later, she finds an immense joy in capturing a mood, a memory, or even the essence of a scene through perfume. Damask Haus fragrances are born from her deep love for travel, her obsession with fine foods, and her fervent commitment to alcohol/addiction recovery and mental health awareness.

Damask Haus uses only the highest quality materials in its creations including naturals (absolutes, tinctures, concretes, resins, essential oils) and synthetic aromatic molecules/chemicals, always following IFRA safety standards.

The Damask Haus process

Our perfumes are handcrafted and made in small batches with premium ingredients. Each item is bottled at time of purchase to maximize quality. Each unique perfume is composed of hand blended fragrance notes and may contain essential oils, aroma-molecules, naturals, absolutes and/or co² extracts.

Memory Sense

Scent is the strongest of the memory senses! Do you remember your grandmother’s damask tablecloth? Simple, elegant and a little understated but setting a specific tone for the whole meal. When that tablecloth came out, you knew fine food, good conversation, and the fancy silverware were about to happen. Or perhaps you were too young to remember those visuals but a certain smell will bring you back in and instant! That is the power of scent in memory. Long after you have forgotten the sights and sounds of a memory, and other details are hazy, the scent of it will remain locked in your soul. For example, you might not even remember that damask tablecloth from when you were a child but if you smelled your grandmother’s perfume from that time you would remember it.
